James Widden is a freelance violinist and violist. He has been the leader of St Paul’s Sinfonia since its inception in 2004 and has also played with the Philharmonia, BBC Philharmonic, London Sinfonietta and Endymion. He has been a soloist on Radio 3’s Hear and Now and is the dedicatee of the forthcoming Violin Concerto by Andrew Toovey.
